Daniela Kulot

Daniela Kulot was born in 1966 in Schongau, Upper Bavaria, Germany. She studied communication design at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg and worked as a freelance author, illustrator and painter. Since 1995, she has published numerous picture books, which have been translated into many languages and received several awards. Her books are noted for their cheerful, distinctive humour. According to biographical accounts, picture books given to her by an aunt during her childhood inspired her early ambition to create books herself.
