Daniel Z. Lieberman was a psychiatrist and professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at George Washington University. He published more than 50 scientific articles on behavioral research and received the Caron Foundation Research Award. He also served as a psychiatric adviser to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
