Daniel Studer

Daniel Studer, born in 1955, studied art history and history, specializing in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, particularly Art Nouveau. From 2002 to 2021, he was director of the Historical and Ethnological Museum of St. Gallen. In 1992, he received his doctorate for a comprehensive study of the graphic work of the artist Martha Cunz; the study was published as a book in 1997. Studer has published extensively on art and cultural history.
