Daniel Pietrek

Daniel Pietrek, born in 1976 in Strzelce Opolskie, Poland, is a literary scholar. He taught at the University of Opole and worked on German-Polish literary relations and Silesian literature. Pietrek catalogued and researched Bienek’s literary estate and completed his habilitation in 2013 with a study of Bienek’s work.
