Daniel Mason

Daniel Mason, born in 1976, is a writer and psychiatrist. He worked as an assistant professor of psychiatry at Stanford University. His debut novel, *The Piano Tuner*, was translated into 28 languages and adapted for the stage and opera. His other novels include *The Winter Soldier*, which was also translated into numerous languages. In 2021, Mason was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
