Daniel Long studied at the Norwich University of the Arts before pursuing a career as an illustrator. His work is inspired by nature and by the aesthetics of the 1950s, particularly in its use of colour and texture. In Germany, he has illustrated several children’s books, including titles published by Knesebeck and cbj. For DK, he illustrated the “Wundervolle Welt” series.
