Ben Hoare is a British author, editor and consultant specialising in natural-history books. After graduating from university in 1996, he wrote numerous books and magazine articles and worked for Birdwatch Magazine and various BBC magazines. As an editor, author and consultant, he contributed to numerous DK books, including the bestsellers Wonderful World of Animals and Wonderful World of Nature. He had been fascinated by animals and plants since childhood.
