Daniel Kahneman

Daniel Kahneman (1934–2024), born in Tel Aviv, was an influential cognitive psychologist. He taught at institutions including the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the University of British Columbia, the University of California, Berkeley, and Princeton University. He received the 2002 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for his research on judgment and decision-making. His book *Thinking, Fast and Slow* became an international bestseller. In 2021, he co-authored *Noise: A Flaw in Human Judgment* with Olivier Sibony and Cass R. Sunstein.
