Born in 1976, Daniel Humm is a chef known for his work at the New York restaurant Eleven Madison Park. During his tenure, the restaurant received, among other distinctions, three Michelin stars, seven James Beard Foundation Awards and the title of World’s Best Restaurant in 2017. In October 2022, Eleven Madison Park became the first and only fully plant-based restaurant to receive three Michelin stars. Humm was also a co-founder of the nonprofit organization Rethink Food. His books include *Eleven Madison Park: The Cookbook* (2011), *I Love New York: Ingredients and Recipes* (2013) and *Eleven Madison Park: The Next Chapter* (2019).
