Craig Thompson

Craig Thompson was born in Traverse City, Michigan, in 1975 and is a cartoonist and author. His debut, “Good-Bye, Chunky Rice,” won the Harvey Award for Best New Talent in 1999. His autobiographical graphic novel “Blankets” received numerous awards, including the 2005 Comic of the Year award at the Frankfurt Book Fair. “Habibi,” a modern fairy tale about the shared cradle of Christianity and Islam, was published in 2011.
