Cordelia Schmidt-Hellerau

Cordelia Schmidt-Hellerau studied German literature, philosophy, and psychology in Heidelberg and Zurich. She was a Privatdozentin in clinical psychology, specializing in psychoanalysis, at the University of Zurich, and worked as a psychoanalyst in private practice. She also served as a training analyst and supervisor for the Swiss Psychoanalytical Society and was a member of the American Psychoanalytic Association. Her publications address theoretical and clinical psychoanalysis, including “Lebenstrieb und Todestrieb, Libido und Lethe” (1995/2003).
