Constanze Schargan

Constanze Schargan was born in Berlin in 1963. From 1984 to 1989, she studied visual communication at the Berlin University of the Arts, graduating as a graphic designer. She specialized in illustration in Professor Jürgen Spohn’s class. She subsequently worked as a freelance illustrator, illustrating children’s books, picture books and schoolbooks, particularly nonfiction books for children. She also worked as a courtroom sketch artist at the Berlin Regional Court.
