Clemency Burton-Hill

Clemency Burton-Hill, born in London in 1981, is an author, cultural journalist, radio and television presenter, and violinist. She worked for outlets including BBC Radio 3 and WQXR, the classical music radio station in New York, and wrote for publications such as The Economist, the Financial Times, The Guardian, and The Observer. As a violinist, she performed under conductors including Daniel Barenboim in major concert halls. Burton-Hill was a co-founder of the multi-award-winning Aurora Orchestra.
