Claudia Max

Claudia Max studied literary translation with a focus on English and American Studies at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Since 2008, she has worked as a freelance literary translator from English. In 2010, she was a fellow of the Berlin Translators’ Workshop, and her work has received several grants from the German Translators’ Fund. In 2023, she was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize.
