Christoph Nebgen

Dr Christoph Nebgen studied Catholic theology and history in Mainz and Rome. He received his doctorate from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 2006. From 2001 to 2006, he worked as a research assistant on the German Research Foundation project “Jesuits of Central European Origin in Ibero-America in the 17th and 18th Centuries,” conducted at the University of Mainz under the direction of Professor Johannes Meier. Nebgen was a university professor of church and theology history at Saarland University.
