Christian Schiffer

Christian Schiffer is a political scientist who joined the Bayerischer Rundfunk culture and youth program “Zündfunk” as an editor and columnist in 2008. He also worked as an author for several ARD broadcasters, hosted the PULS program “Netzfilter,” and headed the digital affairs section at BR24. In 2015, he received the Prix Marulić for his radio feature “Im Schutz der Dunkelheit – Eine Expedition ins Darknet” (“Under Cover of Darkness: An Expedition into the Darknet”). Several television documentaries he produced for ZDF about Germany’s “killer game” debate were nominated for the Grimme Award in 2017. In 2018, he co-authored the book “Angela Merkel ist Hitlers Tochter. Im Land der Verschwörungstheorien” with Christian Alt.
