Christa Hunscha

Christa Hunscha (1935–1985) was born in Berlin and died in Bonn. She earned a doctorate on Clemens Brentano’s fairy tales and subsequently worked as a journalist and translator. She wrote, among other publications, for Vorwärts, produced film features including contributions to Kennzeichen D, and made radio features for the WDR program Kritisches Tagebuch. In 1974, she published a critical study on the representation of reality in children’s books and children’s television.
