Chris Geletneky

Chris Geletneky (born 1972) is a German comedy writer and author. From 1999 onward, he worked as a head writer and creative producer on television formats including »Freitag Nacht News«, »Ladykracher«, »Die Wochenshow«, »Sketch History« and »LoL – Last One Laughing«. He wrote more than 70 episodes of the comedy series »Pastewka«, which received multiple German Television Awards and German Comedy Awards. In 2022, he made his feature-film debut as a writer with »Die Geschichte der Menschheit – Leicht gekürzt«. His first novel, »Midlife Cowboy«, was published in 2016. In 2018, he co-founded the production company Gerda Film GmbH with Benjamin Seikel.
