Chris Caldicott

Chris Caldicott spent many years travelling the world with his wife, Carolyn, and contributed to travel documentaries made for the Royal Geographical Society and the BBC, as well as for magazines and newspapers including *Vanity Fair*, *Elle* and *The Times*. In 1991, they opened the World Food Café in London, serving international recipes and vegetarian dishes inspired by their travels. They ran the restaurant until summer 2011, establishing it as an institution of London’s dining scene. Their journeys around the world also provided inspiration for new books.
