Chantal de Spiegeleer

Chantal De Spiegeleer was born in 1957 in the Belgian Congo and studied comics at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels. Her first album was “Mirabelle.” From 1988 onward, she published the series “Madila,” which ran to four albums. She later turned to virtual painting, video games, and textile design. She colored the series “Adler” by her husband, René Sterne, and they began working together on “The Curse of the Thirty Pieces of Silver.” After Sterne’s death in 2006, De Spiegeleer returned to drawing and completed the adventure.
