Carsten Jensen

Carsten Jensen (born 1952) is a Danish writer, journalist and literary critic. He grew up in Marstal on the Danish island of Ærø and studied literature in Copenhagen. He began his literary career in the mid-1990s. His third novel, We, the Drowned, brought him international recognition and became an international bestseller. In 2009, Jensen received the Olof Palme Prize.
