Caroline Fink

Caroline Fink (born 1977) studied sociology, journalism and modern German literature at the University of Zurich. From 2007 onward, she worked freelance as an author and photographer for German-language newspapers and magazines, including the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and Schweizer Familie. She also wrote books, worked as a documentary filmmaker and moderator, and focused her projects primarily on mountains, alpinism and travel. During her studies, she took up climbing, mountaineering and ski mountaineering, including in women’s rope teams. She published several books with AS Verlag, including the photobook Silence (2018).
