Camille de Toledo studied history and politics and was a fellow of the French Academy at the Villa Medici in Rome. In 2008, he co-founded the European Society of Authors with Maren Sell to promote translation. As a writer, curator, and cultural theorist, he combines genres such as the novel, flash fiction, and the essay in his books. His works include *Vies pøtentielles* (2010) and *Le livre de la faim et de la soif* (2017).
