Briony May Smith

Briony May Smith studied illustration at Falmouth University, graduating with first-class honours. She is the author and illustrator of “Mia und die kleine Meerjungfrau” and “Emmas Einhorn”, and has illustrated numerous other children’s picture books. Her work is inspired by traditional fairy tales and the folklore of her homeland. She was shortlisted for the British Comic Awards and twice recommended for the Macmillan Prize for Illustration.
