Betty Wahl

Betty Wahl (born 1965) worked as a freelance literary translator from Icelandic and Norwegian into German and as a lecturer at the University of Frankfurt. She translated works by authors including Sjón, Gyrðir Elíasson and Jón Gnarr, as well as poetry by the Norwegian writer Marte Huke. In 2011, she contributed to a new translation of the Icelandic sagas.
