Berthold Forssman

Berthold Forssman studied Scandinavian, Slavic and Indo-European studies in Erlangen, Kiel, Reykjavík and Jena. He worked as a freelance journalist, translator and author, with a particular focus on the Nordic countries and the Baltic states. His publications include a Latvian textbook, a Latvian grammar and a Latvian–German–Latvian dictionary. He translated works from Latvian by, among others, Laima Muktupāvela and Anšlavs Eglītis.
