Bernd Rauschenbach

Bernd Rauschenbach, born in Berlin in 1952, is a Germanist, literary scholar, author, editor and reciter. From 1982 to 2018, he headed the Arno Schmidt Foundation and was involved in editing Arno Schmidt’s works, including as a co-editor of the Bargfelder Ausgabe. In 2000, he edited the volume “Gedichte” as part of the Rühmkorf edition. From 2013 onward, he performed the Rühmkorf program “Allein ist nicht genug,” which he had compiled, together with two jazz musicians.
