Bernd Henningsen

Bernd Henningsen (born 1945) is a German scholar of Scandinavian studies. He was a professor of Scandinavian studies and director of the Nordic Institute at Humboldt University of Berlin. In 2001, he received Denmark’s Order of the Dannebrog. In 2005, he was appointed honorary professor at the University of Copenhagen.
