Bernadette Conrad

Bernadette Conrad, born in Stuttgart in 1963, is a literary and travel journalist and author. She worked for publications and broadcasters including DIE ZEIT, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, the Berliner Zeitung and Swiss Radio SRF2 Kultur. Her narrative nonfiction books on literature, society and family include “Die vielen Leben der Paula Fox” (2011) and “Die kleinste Familie der Welt.” Her nonfiction has received several awards. “Was dich spaltet,” supported by a Berlin authors’ fellowship, was her first novel.
