Bei Ling

Bei Ling, born in Shanghai in 1959, is a Chinese publisher, writer, and essayist. Together with Liu Xiaobo, he founded the Chinese PEN Club. As Liu Xiaobo’s longtime friend and companion, he wrote a personal biography of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
