Bea Uusma

Bea Uusma, born in 1966, is a trained physician, illustrator, and author. While studying medicine, she initiated a detailed research project on the Andrée Expedition, incorporating new findings about the expedition camp and the possible causes of the participants’ deaths. Her book “Die Expedition. Eine Liebesgeschichte” received the prestigious August Prize for the best Swedish nonfiction book of the year.
