Bastiaan Ragas, born in 1971 in the Netherlands, is a singer, actor and author. He trained in acting and theatre and became known as the lead singer of the Dutch boy band Caught in the Act, which rose to popularity in Germany in 1994 after appearing on the television series »Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten«. Ragas later released several solo albums, worked as a musical theatre performer and founded a theatre production company. He published three books in the Netherlands, released in 2011, 2012 and 2015.
