Barbara Stok

Barbara Stok, born in Groningen in 1970, is a Dutch comics artist and author of graphic novels. One of her best-known works is Vincent, a graphic novel about Vincent van Gogh that has been published in more than 20 countries. Her graphic novel The Philosopher, the Dog and the Wedding tells the story of Hipparchia, one of the early female philosophers.
