Axel Monte

Axel Monte (born 1962) studied ethnology and Indology at Heidelberg University’s South Asia Institute, where he earned a Magister degree. He received a doctorate in cultural studies from the University of Bremen. Monte worked freelance as a translator, editor, author, and ethnologist.
