Astrid Sy (born 1987) grew up in Leiden and studied history in Amsterdam. Her professional career included work for the International Holocaust Remembrance Center Yad Vashem in Jerusalem and the Anne Frank Foundation. She also hosted the Dutch history program “Andere Tijden” and worked for the National Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam.
