Annegret Ritter

Annegret Ritter, born in Freiberg in 1964, studied toy design at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle. After a year as a designer at a toy company in Leipzig and several years abroad, where she took part in playground construction projects, she worked as a freelance illustrator and designer from 1991 onward. She illustrated books, craft sheets and stationery for children, as well as works for adults. *Quiosques de Lisboa* was her first book of travel sketches and also her first book for adults.
