Anne Holt, born in 1958, is a Norwegian crime writer. Before turning to fiction, she worked as a lawyer, journalist, television news editor and presenter, and served as Norway’s Minister of Justice. She became widely known for her crime series featuring Hanne Wilhelmsen and Inger Johanne Vik; the latter was adapted as the television series *Modus*. In 2021, she also began a series featuring the lawyer Selma Falck.
