Anne Hahn

Anne Hahn, born in Magdeburg in 1966, studied art history, history and German at university in Berlin. She worked as a historian and freelance author and began publishing portraits, reviews, nonfiction and novels in 1999. After an attempted escape in 1989, she was imprisoned for six months. She drew on her experiences of German reunification in the novel »Dreizehn Sommer« (2005), later reissued under the title »Gegenüber von China«. Her nonfiction works include »Stadionpartisanen« (2007), »Satan, kannst du mir nochmal verzeihn« (2008) and »Pogo im Bratwurstland« (2009), some of them co-written with Frank Willmann.
