Ann Marks

Ann Marks worked for several years as a sales executive at major companies, including Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal. An enthusiastic amateur genealogist, she subsequently spent six years researching the photographer Vivian Maier. She examined around 140,000 photographs, along with video recordings, letters, and diaries, and wrote a biography of Maier. Excerpts from her research appeared in publications including The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune.
