Dr. Anke Christensen worked as a senior grammar-school teacher of German, history, and economics/politics at schools in Kiel and at the German School in New York. From 2012, she served as a seconded teacher and, from 2017, worked as a research associate at the Institute of Modern German Literature and Media at Kiel University, focusing in part on literature and media education. Her dissertation is titled »Jugenddramen von Lutz Hübner und Sarah Nemitz – ›Form follows function‹«.
