Anke Caroline Burger

Anke Caroline Burger (born 1964 in Darmstadt) studied American studies and German studies. From 1992 onward, she translated literary works from English, including novels, short stories and essays. Authors whose work she translated include Ottessa Moshfegh, Adam Johnson, Tanya Tagaq and Jon McGregor. Her work was recognized with the Christoph Martin Wieland Prize, also referred to as the Wieland Translator Prize, and numerous DÜF fellowships.
