Anja Gust was born in Rendsburg in 1968 and is a German author. She has published contributions to anthologies, a collection of stories in Easy Language, and several crime novels, including *Monstratorem*, *Nur eine Petitesse*, and *So oder so ist es Mord*. Her socially critical novel *Die Schwebfliege* was also published. In 2013, Gust was honored by Aktion Mensch and LEA-Leseclub e. V. for her social commitment to literature. As a child, she wanted to become a jockey, and her connection with horses has remained.
