Angelika Gundlach

Angelika Gundlach (1950–2019) was a German translator. She translated numerous works from Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, French, and English into German. In 1995, she received the Swedish Academy’s award for promoting Swedish literature abroad. For the publisher mare, she translated August Strindberg’s sea prose, published in 2013 as the four-volume edition »Bis ans offene Meer«. Gundlach was born in Hamburg and died in Seligenstadt.
