Andreas Wolfers, born in 1958, is a journalist and author. He worked as a reporter for the magazine GEO for 13 years, served as editor-in-chief of STERN’s text department, and headed the Henri Nannen School of Journalism in Hamburg from 2007 to 2019. Born in Flensburg, he has sailed since childhood and has crossed the Atlantic. Together with Boris Herrmann, he wrote “Allein zwischen Himmel und Meer,” about Herrmann’s participation in the 2020 Vendée Globe; the book spent several weeks on the bestseller list.
