Andreas J. Hirsch, born in Vienna in 1961, worked as a writer, photographic artist, and curator. From 2009 to 2014, he was curator at KunstHausWien, where he organized exhibitions including projects on Henri Cartier-Bresson, Linda McCartney, and HR Giger. As an author, he published books on Vienna, Ludwig van Beethoven, Pablo Picasso, Tina Modotti, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, and HR Giger. His photographic project “RE-READING THE CITY” was presented at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz in 2015. In 2020, his portrait series “LOVE OVER HATE – The Art of Peace” received an Honorable Mention from the Julia Margaret Cameron Award.
