Andreas Baier

Andreas Baier was born in 1966 in Crimmitschau, Germany. After completing secondary school, he trained as a machinist, purchasing clerk and carpenter. He subsequently worked in various occupations, including as a sun-shade installer and an after-school care worker. Alongside writing, he worked in photography, painting, music and directing commercials, and developed a flashlight-based light-painting technique. In 2021, he published his first book, “ICH. Gedanken aus der Stille,” a collection of poems and reflections.
