Andreas Anton

Andreas Anton, Dr. phil., is a sociologist who worked as a research associate at the Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology and Mental Health (IGPP) in Freiburg, Germany. His academic fields include the sociology of knowledge, media and culture, qualitative and quantitative social research, sociological analyses of conspiracy theories, and society’s engagement with extraordinary experiences. He has also addressed cultural and social-scientific aspects of SETI research, sometimes referred to as exosociology. His book »Sie sind da« was published by Komplett-Media.
