Andrea Erne

Andrea Erne was born in Stuttgart in 1958. She studied German studies, political science and cultural studies. After completing her journalistic traineeship, she worked as an editor covering culture, social affairs, and children’s and young people’s literature for a daily newspaper. She subsequently worked as an editor in the hardcover picture-book department of Ravensburger Buchverlag. After the birth of her two daughters, she worked as a freelance author and journalist for publishing houses and newspapers.
