Ambrose Parry

Ambrose Parry is the pen name of the Scottish writing team Christopher Brookmyre and Marisa Haetzman. Brookmyre studied English literature and theatre studies before working as a journalist in London, Los Angeles and Edinburgh. He has published more than twenty novels and received multiple awards. Haetzman is a medical historian who worked as an anaesthetist for twenty years. Her research into the history of modern anaesthesia provided the background for their crime series featuring Will Raven and Sarah Fisher, including The Way of All Flesh.
