Alexander Berkman

Alexander Berkman was an anarchist activist and a friend of Emma Goldman. For a time, he was influenced by the anarchist concept of “propaganda of the deed.” In 1919, he was deported from the United States to Soviet Russia. After the suppression of the Kronstadt rebellion, he emigrated to Berlin. He died by suicide in Nice.
